Beasties is an evolving collection of playful, 3D-printed characters designed to explore personality, self-expression, and the emotional connection between people and objects.

Each character is built around a shared modular structure, with interchangeable accessories, movable parts, and small details that give it a distinct personality. Through different gestures, objects, and expressions, the characters reflect familiar moods, everyday situations, and aspects of human behavior.

The project combines character design, product design, and digital fabrication. Designed specifically for FDM 3D printing, the characters are developed with careful attention to proportions, assembly, movement, and the possibilities and limitations of the manufacturing process.

Distributed as digital 3D-printing files, Beasties can be produced and personalized by individuals anywhere in the world. The choice of colors, materials, and accessories allows each person to create their own interpretation of a character.
